Disciplining officials who are slow in handling administrative procedures

The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has issued a document directing heads of departments, branches and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards to continue improving the efficiency of receiving and handling administrative procedures in implementing the one-stop and inter-connected one-stop mechanism.

Specifically, departments, branches and localities strengthen the responsibility of leaders in leading, directing and operating administrative procedure reform, implementing the one-stop and one-stop mechanism in handling administrative procedures; regularly inspect and urge the implementation of administrative reform plans, control administrative procedures; promptly detect and remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process; review and update fully and promptly the list of administrative procedures at the Public Administration Service Center to ensure public disclosure in accordance with regulations, creating convenience for organizations and individuals to look up and implement; regularly guide and support people and businesses to submit documents online, thereby helping units and localities increase the rate of online documents.

In addition, sectors and localities must strengthen discipline and administrative discipline, improve the efficiency of handling administrative procedures, limit and take strict measures to handle officials, civil servants and public employees who have acts of harassment, causing difficulties for individuals and organizations when participating in the implementation of administrative procedures and rectify and strictly handle cases of civil servants and public employees advising on the results of handling administrative procedures past the deadline, advising on general and roundabout responses...

Agencies, units and localities that handle administrative procedures need to proactively research, review and advise competent authorities on plans to simplify and shorten the time to handle administrative procedures, and increase the efficiency of handling administrative procedures for individuals and organizations.

According to data from the Provincial People's Committee, from July 1 to October 26, 2025, the total number of administrative procedure records received online from the National Public Service Portal, directly from the Provincial Administrative Procedure Settlement Information System (iGate) was 480,992 records, of which 436,234 records were resolved.
