The truck carried 353 boxes of instant noodles, 700 kg of rice, 8 boxes of milk, 6 boxes of cakes, 50 t-shirts, 1 box of MSG, 10 boxes of cooking oil, 15 boxes of pho, 10 boxes of fish sauce and 15 bags of clothes, to provide emergency support to about 400 households with 1,700 people in 5 villages.

Because the main road to the 5 villages is cut off, the goods will be transported to the Commune People's Committee. After that, the locality will mobilize militia and local youth to use modified motorbikes or carry goods to each village to distribute to the people.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Man, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ngai province, the department called for and received support for people in 5 isolated villages from October 28 to November 7. This morning's trip was the first to bring supplies to the people. In the coming time, the department will continue to receive relief goods and organize more charity trips to ensure that people have enough food, drinking water and necessities to stabilize their lives and overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters.

Mr. A Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ngoc Linh Commune, said that after the landslide, 5 villages were isolated, people's lives faced many difficulties, and there was a risk of food shortages due to prolonged landslides. In the midst of the disaster, the relief goods from the Department of Industry and Trade were very meaningful, contributing to helping people stabilize their lives, ensure their health and firmly overcome the natural disaster.
