Ha Giang General Hospital is a class I hospital, financially autonomous group 3 (partially autonomous in regular expenses). The hospital has 715 planned beds, 957 actual beds. The total number of staff and civil servants is 553, including 147 doctors. Professional work, basic medical examination and treatment indicators have all met the plan. In 2025, the hospital will receive over 212,000 patients for examination and treatment; nearly 48,000 inpatients....

At the meeting, the leaders and departments of Ha Giang General Hospital shared the advantages, difficulties and obstacles in medical examination and treatment at the hospital in the following areas: Health insurance settlement; lack of human resources; staff training policies and regimes; degraded waste treatment system. At the same time, a number of recommendations and proposals were made to the Provincial People's Committee such as: Adding more staff to the unit; adding policies and funding to support attracting high-quality medical human resources; annually allocating funds to purchase and replace necessary equipment; promptly approving the list of specialized and common equipment so that the hospital can soon purchase equipment to serve patients...

Based on the hospital's proposals and recommendations, leaders of the provincial departments and branches have answered, clarified and proposed solutions to ensure better medical examination and treatment for the people.

For the next tasks, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested: The hospital and the Department of Health should strengthen consultation with the province on difficulties and shortcomings; promptly resolve them to improve the quality of operations, promote the core role in medical examination and treatment for the people. Pay attention to and support the training of staff and doctors at lower levels and regional hospitals. On the other hand, strengthen the propaganda of disease prevention and control to all classes of people; constantly learn to improve qualifications, professional expertise, cultivate medical ethics for each staff and doctor, thereby doing a good job of taking care of community health.
