More than 1 million citizens activate level 2 electronic identification accounts

Implementing the plans of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing Project 06 in conjunction with administrative reform and digital transformation; implementing the "digital literacy" movement, up to now, the whole province has had 1,022,022 citizens aged 14 and over activating level 2 electronic identification accounts, reaching 73.14% of the total eligible population (target of 80%). Along with that, 481,294 people have integrated health insurance card information into the VneID level 2 application (electronic health book).

To complete the goal by December 15, 2025, wards strive to achieve an activation rate of 90% or more, old district center communes reach 85%, the remaining communes reach 80%. Localities in the province are making efforts to increase the activation rate of electronic identification accounts and integrate information of personal documents into the VNeID application. The Provincial Project 06 Implementation Working Group requested departments, branches, sectors, unions, and People's Committees at all levels to strengthen direction and synchronously implement tasks; promote propaganda and guide people to integrate documents such as driver's licenses, vehicle registration, insurance, taxes, confirmation of marital status, bank accounts, etc. into the VNeID application, contributing to reducing administrative procedures and promoting digital citizen development.

Press and media units, the Fatherland Front , unions and the Provincial Youth Union are assigned to play a core role in propagating, guiding and mobilizing people, especially union members and youth, to actively participate in digital transformation, creating strong changes in building "each citizen a digital identity" in the province.
