Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan inspected the progress of the Ho Chi Minh road project, Cho Chu - Trung Son intersection section.

On the afternoon of October 30, comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of the Ho Chi Minh Road construction project, Cho Chu - Trung Son T-junction section. Accompanying him were leaders of a number of departments, branches, the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, the People's Committees of Hung Loi and Trung Son communes.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of resettlement construction, Ho Chi Minh road project, section passing through Hung Loi commune.

After checking the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh road project, the section passing through Trung Son and Hung Loi communes, at the headquarters of Hung Loi commune, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting on the project's progress.

The project has a total length of nearly 29 km, of which 17.1 km passes through Tuyen Quang province, with a total recovered area of ​​about 60.69 hectares, affecting 397 households with a total compensation, support and resettlement cost of 161.22 billion VND.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan worked with departments, branches, localities, and investors of the Ho Chi Minh Highway section passing through the province.

As of October 29, the project's compensation and site clearance (GPMB) work has basically completed 99.5% of the area, with 61.78/62.1 hectares having been handed over clean land. The Trung Son and Hung Loi resettlement areas are being focused on accelerating the leveling progress, expected to be completed in November 2025. Regarding disbursement, the total implemented budget has reached 160.027/187.408 billion VND, equivalent to 85.4% of the allocated capital. Infrastructure relocation items, including Viettel and VNPT electricity and telecommunications systems, have also been basically completed, ensuring no interruption to the project's construction progress.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

At the working session with localities and investors, delegates discussed the rapid completion of resettlement areas, creating conditions for people to resettle and stabilize their lives; continuing to mobilize households that have not yet agreed and proposing solutions to resolve bottlenecks...

Concluding the working session, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and active coordination of departments, branches, localities and the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board in implementing site clearance and construction of project infrastructure.

Hung Loi commune leaders reported on site clearance work in the area to the working delegation.

He emphasized that the Ho Chi Minh Road Project from Cho Chu (Thai Nguyen) to Trung Son intersection is a key project of the transport sector, receiving special attention from the Government and ministries and branches, so all levels and branches must focus on implementing the project.

Leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment spoke at the meeting.

He requested that the Yen Son Area Investment and Construction Project Management Board must complete the resettlement site of Trung Son and Hung Loi commune before November 10 to construct the resettlement area. For households not subject to resettlement but have not yet handed over the site to the investor, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan requested that if the site is not handed over to the investor by the end of November, construction protection will be organized; for the Department of Industry and Trade, the Tuyen Quang Electricity Company must urgently relocate the power system to clear the site for handover to the investor; telecommunications units Viettel and VNPT must urgently relocate the technical infrastructure. For the Department of Agriculture and Environment, before November 15, complete the procedures for the Provincial People's Committee to approve the project to increase the capacity of Yen Ngua quarry. During the construction process, the construction unit must ensure construction safety and the environment where the project passes.
