Accordingly, VNR only receives and transports relief goods free of charge from organizations and individuals through the People's Committees, Fatherland Front Committees and Red Cross Societies of provinces and cities. This regulation aims to ensure the smooth, timely and safe transportation of relief goods to the people.

To ensure that the support is carried out in the right direction, safely and most effectively, VNR requests that organizations, businesses and charitable individuals send relief goods through the above-mentioned authorities, limiting the movement of goods by long-distance trucks in the context of the erratic weather in the Central region, prolonged heavy rain and potential landslide risks in many places. Organizing transportation yourself can cause insecurity and hinder rescue work.

The work of receiving and unloading relief goods is organized at qualified terminal stations on the national railway network such as: Saigon, Song Than, Nha Trang, Dong Hoi, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Giap Bat, Hanoi , Hai Phong... Relief goods will be transported to Hue station and Da Nang station for further distribution.

The free transportation of relief goods is implemented from now until further notice. VNR also requests agencies, organizations and localities to closely coordinate in receiving, loading and distributing goods, in order to promptly support people in flood-affected areas to stabilize their lives soon.
