Strive to increase the vaccination rate for children under 1 year old to 92% by the end of 2025

According to the Tuyen Quang Department of Health, by the end of October 2025, the whole province will have achieved a rate of 76% of children under 1 year old fully vaccinated with 8 types of vaccines in the National Expanded Immunization Program, meeting the planned target. Many localities such as Son Duong, Yen Son, Ham Yen communes, Ha Giang 1 ward, Ha Giang 2 ward, Minh Xuan, Nong Tien maintained a 10-month vaccination progress of over 78%. By the end of 2025, the vaccination rate for children under 1 year old in the whole province will reach 92% (the target for the whole year is 90%).

Vaccinations are carried out safely, following the correct procedures, ensuring vaccine quality and strictly complying with regulations on vaccination and monitoring post-vaccination reactions. The health sector has continuously improved professional capacity in vaccination, strengthened the cold chain system from province to commune; 100% of health stations have standard refrigerators to preserve vaccines. Along with that, communication campaigns and direct consultations have been promoted to help people understand the benefits of vaccination, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority areas.

Thanks to maintaining a high vaccination rate, in recent years in Tuyen Quang province, dangerous infectious diseases with preventive vaccines such as measles, diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, Japanese encephalitis, etc. have been managed, closely monitored and well controlled. In the coming time, the health sector will continue to strengthen the capacity and quality of vaccination, strengthen epidemiological surveillance activities, and ensure that all children born are fully, safely and promptly vaccinated.
