Two Bac Ninh Trade Union football teams set out for the national finals

On the afternoon of October 26, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor held a ceremony to send off two Bac Ninh workers' football teams to participate in the final round of the 2025 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc - Vice President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation - said that the two football teams Bac Ninh Trade Union 1 and Bac Ninh Trade Union 2, representing 579,000 union members in the province, entered the final round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City with determination and careful preparation.

According to Ms. Ngoc, provincial leaders, departments and sponsors, especially Bac Ninh Trade Union, are interested in and support the team from the qualifying round in the Northern region.

"The players of both teams showed beautiful technical play, strictly followed the competition discipline of the coaching staff, and both passed the qualifying round to participate in the final round.

This event not only has the meaning of sports and health improvement but also is a valuable opportunity for union members and workers of Bac Ninh to exchange, learn, and demonstrate the dynamic and united image of the province's workers and civil servants in the national arena," she said.

At the launch ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Thinh - Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee - expressed that both teams of Bac Ninh Trade Union entering the final round is the pride and honor of the province.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province noted that this is a rare competition opportunity in the life of every worker and civil servant. Mr. Pham Van Thinh said that the players need to focus and compete with the highest determination, confident in their abilities to achieve the best results.

Mr. Pham Van Thinh urged the players to unite, compete with passion and team spirit to reach the final match of the tournament, and suggested that the Provincial Labor Federation continue to promote sports, culture and arts movements among workers.

Mr. Thach Van Chung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Labor Federation of Bac Ninh province - wished the athletes determination to compete for the flag and colors, contributing to creating value for the new Bac Ninh province.

Mr. Chung also hopes to continue to receive more attention from provincial leaders so that the Provincial Labor Federation can create conditions for the players to have the most comfortable spirit and compete most successfully.

The 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , and Vietnam Football Federation. This is the third consecutive year the tournament has taken place.

The 2025 tournament is sponsored by Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO), Dong Luc Sports Group, HTP Pharmaceutical Investment Joint Stock Company, Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company, Sunshine Group, Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), Faslink Fashion Connection Joint Stock Company, 108 Central Military Hospital, 175 Military Hospital and a number of enterprises.

The national final round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2025 will take place from October 31 to November 2 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 16 teams from across the country, including the Bac Ninh Trade Union 1 and 2 teams. These are all teams that have successfully passed the regional qualifying round to get tickets to the final round.
