Female student Hoang Ngoc Nhu crowned Miss Vietnamese Student 2025

Female student Hoang Ngoc Nhu from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry has just been crowned Miss Student Vietnam 2025 after surpassing 27 other students. The final night took place in Bac Ninh.

The final night of the Miss Student Vietnam 2025 contest took place last night, October 25, in Bac Ninh province, with the competition of 28 students from universities, colleges, and academies across the country. Hoang Ngoc Nhu, a beauty from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, officially became the new Miss.

She is 1.72m tall, with measurements of 80-60-89 cm. The new beauty queen received the Ky sac thanh tam crown and a prize worth 200 million VND.

Performance about a happy Vietnam

The contest had the theme of Brilliant Youth, the top 28 went through the following competitions: traditional costume performance, bikini, evening gown, to select the top 5 to enter the behavioral round.

The highlight was the behavioral round, the top 5 chose one of five favorite colors: blue, red, yellow, pink, orange. Each color box had 4-6 photos reflecting perspectives on happy life in Vietnam, selected from the photo award "Happy Vietnam."

Accordingly, each student has a maximum of 5 minutes to observe and present their personal views based on their feelings and analysis of the selected images. This is the decisive part of the competition, requiring candidates to demonstrate not only their physical beauty but also their courage, intelligence and ability to adapt flexibly.

In the behavioral round, Hoang Ngoc Nhu chose the yellow box with the theme “Joy of Work.” She answered: “There are many countries in the world , but only a few are called happy countries. According to Ngoc Nhu, the happiness of a country starts from the happiness of each person. Right now, I feel so lucky to open 6 photos – 6 ordinary slices but full of emotions.”

In the photo “Happiness of the Golden Season”, she felt the mother’s eyes sparkling with joy, carrying a basket of golden rice on her back, and her child in front of her chest – a simple but great happiness. In “Bustling Way Home”, it is the aftertaste of happiness after a long day of work, the cheerful smiles and sympathetic eyes that warm people’s hearts.

The third photo “Water lily season in my hometown” takes us to the river delta region, where happiness comes from a favorite job. The fourth photo “Grandma’s smile” depicts the image of a disabled old man still weaving baskets with all his passion. With this photo, she sees radiant joy, sparkling eyes even though on his shoulders is a heavy bunch of water coconuts. Finally, the image of the old man teaching ethnic culture to the young generation in the great Central Highlands evokes in the beauty feelings of happiness and pride when the tradition is continued.

“Whether in the mountains or the lowlands, the plains or the rivers, I can feel the sincere happiness of the Vietnamese people. Because happiness is not far away, but in the eyes, the smiles and in every breath of this life,” Ngoc Nhu concluded her performance.

Playground honoring the comprehensive beauty of Vietnamese female students

The Miss Vietnam Student contest aims to honor the comprehensive beauty of Vietnamese female students, not only in appearance but also in intelligence, personality and dedication. The message that the program conveys is to affirm the value of youth and the role of knowledge in spreading the image of dynamic, confident and compassionate Vietnamese women.

Right after the coronation night, the new Miss Hoang Ngoc Nhu shared: “Nhu Ngoc’s special features are her positive energy and her listening heart. Nhu Ngoc grew up in a family that was not very wealthy, but was always filled with love. It is from that warmth that I learned to be resilient, grateful and cherish every opportunity in life.”

Also in the final night, the organizing committee awarded the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runner-up titles to students Tran Thi Thu Hien (Van Lang University), Nguyen Thi Kieu Anh ( Hanoi University of Industry). The 3rd runner-up title belonged to students Vu Hong Hanh (Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment) and Nguyen Phuong Anh (National University of Art Education).

In addition, the organizing committee also awarded secondary awards such as: Media Beauty (Tran Bao Anh), Most Favorite Beauty (Tran Tue Han), Tourism Beauty (Tran Tue Han), Environmental Beauty (Tong Ngoc Anh), Knowledge Beauty (Tran Bao Anh), Fashion Beauty (Vuong Thi Thuy Trang)...

In particular, in the final night, the entire donation of more than 1.4 billion VND from benefactors and the ticket sales of more than 200 million VND were presented by the organizing committee to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province and the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union to give to people affected by natural disasters./.
