An Giang supports 13 billion VND for people in 5 provinces affected by natural disasters and floods

According to information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, the province has just had a policy of using funds to mobilize and support people in provinces affected by natural disasters and floods.

Leaders of Agribank's Kien Giang branch handed over 92 million VND, raised from one day's salary donated by its staff and employees, to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms, and floods.

Accordingly, funds raised to support people in 5 provinces affected by natural disasters, storms, and floods totaled 13 billion VND; specifically: Thai Nguyen 4 billion VND, Cao Bang 3 billion VND, Lang Son 2 billion VND, Bac Ninh 2 billion VND, and Ha Tinh 2 billion VND. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has transferred the funds and essential supplies to these provinces.
