Hoan Kiem: Spreading the spirit of sports training following the example of great Uncle Ho

On the morning of October 26, at the intersection of Dinh Le - Dinh Tien Hoang, Hoan Kiem ward, the first Sports Congress in 2025 opened.

The congress attracted the participation of more than 1,000 athletes, marching groups and performers from residential groups, agencies, units and schools.

In his opening speech, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee Nguyen Hong Trang said that the Congress is a meaningful activity, contributing to promoting the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", raising public awareness of the role and importance of physical education and sports in building cultural life, developing people and society.

The program was organized solemnly and lively, clearly demonstrating discipline and high artistry. Highlights included the ceremony of carrying the national flag, the Congress flag and President Ho Chi Minh's photo, the torch procession and lighting the traditional fire.

The special highlight of the congress was the mass sports performances and demonstration of force with the following performances: Health care, martial arts music, zumba, self-defense, and especially the mass performance "Aspiration to shine" - recreating the strong, proud, and united spirit, reflecting the aspiration to rise up of the people of Hoan Kiem ward in the new era.

Through the Congress, Hoan Kiem ward honored collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the sports movement; selected outstanding athletes to attend the Capital Sports Congress.
