Hoan Kiem: Spreading the spirit of sports training following the example of great Uncle Ho

On the morning of October 26, at the intersection of Dinh Le - Dinh Tien Hoang, Hoan Kiem ward, the first Sports Congress in 2025 opened.

Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoan Kiem Ward, Vu Dang Dinh, and leaders of city departments and agencies attended.

The大会 attracted the participation of over 1,000 athletes, marching contingents, and synchronized performance groups from residential areas, agencies, units, and schools.

In her opening remarks, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee, Nguyen Hong Trang, stated that the Congress is a deeply meaningful activity, contributing to promoting the movement "All people practice physical training following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh," and raising community awareness of the role and importance of physical education and sports in building cultural life, developing people and society.

The program was organized in a solemn and lively manner, clearly demonstrating high discipline and artistic merit. Highlights included the procession of the national flag, the Congress flag and a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh , the torch procession, and the lighting of the traditional flame.

A special highlight of the congress was the mass performance of sports and physical exercises and demonstrations of strength with performances such as: health exercises, martial arts with music, Zumba, self-defense, and especially the mass performance "Aspiration to Shine" - recreating the strong, proud, united spirit, reflecting the aspiration to rise of the people of Hoan Kiem ward in the new era.

Through the Congress, Hoan Kiem ward commended collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in the sports movement; and selected outstanding athletes to participate in the Hanoi Sports Congress.
