November is a beautiful time of year in Da Lat, converging many factors for tourists to choose the city of thousands of flowers as their year-end destination. In early winter, the weather is dry and cool, wildflowers bloom in abundance such as snow grass (pink grass), foxtail grass, wild sunflowers...

One of the wildflowers that attracts a lot of tourists to Da Lat to check-in is pink grass. This is a shrub that grows wildly throughout the hills of the Golden Valley, Bald Hill, Masara Hill...

The scene of pink grass hills covered in sparkling dew in the early morning in Golden Valley. This is a location near the center of Da Lat where visitors can easily find the freshest patches of pink grass.

Golden Valley is located in Lat Dong village, Lat commune, Lac Duong district, about 15 km from Da Lat city center.

To capture the most impressive moments, you should come at 5-6am when dawn is just breaking, the soft yellow sunlight blends with the morning dew to create a unique shimmering effect.

Early morning is the best time to catch the “snow grass” effect, the whole hillside looks like it is covered with snow because of the tiny dew on each blade of pink grass. When the sun is higher, the pink grass is more colorful and brilliant.

The pink grass season coincides with the end of the year, which is also the time when many couples look for places to take wedding photos, so the pink grass hills of Da Lat become an ideal destination.

In recent years, tourists and residents of Da Lat have also had the opportunity to admire the beauty of pink foxtail grass. The taller plants and much larger flowers are also wild plants that bloom in early winter along with pink grass and wild sunflowers.

The color of the foxtail grass is gentle pink-purple, the flowers bloom like reeds but smaller. Visitors can find the pink foxtail grass hill in Xuan Tho commune, east of Da Lat city, about 11 km from the city center.

Whether at dawn or dusk, the pink foxtail grass glows pink mixed with orange sunlight, creating a natural backdrop for memorable commemorative photos.

Pink grass is available in October - November while pink foxtail grass blooms later in late November to December. The blooming time is long but the locations are crowded with people coming to take pictures every day, visitors should plan early to check-in this year's grass season.
