In early October 2025, the remnants of Typhoon Matmo – the 11th typhoon of the season – caused heavy rain and widespread flooding in several northern provinces of Vietnam, including Lang Son, Bac Ninh , Thai Nguyen, and Cao Bang. Although the typhoon has passed, its aftermath has left devastating consequences for the people. Houses and schools were submerged in floodwaters; property was swept away; many people died in flash floods; and the lives of thousands of families were disrupted. Many schools, teachers, and students are facing shortages of textbooks and learning materials.
Joining hands with the whole country to support the provinces most severely affected by Typhoon No. 11, and to promptly share the pain and losses that teachers and students there are enduring, Hong Ha Stationery has accompanied the Ministry of Education and Training in visiting and supporting the education sector in the aforementioned provinces to overcome the consequences of the storm and floods with a total value of cash and in-kind donations of 2.2 billion VND. In each province, Hong Ha Stationery donated 50 million VND in cash and 500 million VND worth of school supplies.

Mr. Nguyen Van Them, Deputy Director of the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training, receives school supplies to be sent to teachers and students in areas affected by storms and floods.
On October 23, 2025, a delegation from Hong Ha Stationery and the Ministry of Education and Training visited the Departments of Education and Training in Lang Son and Bac Ninh provinces to offer encouragement and donate school supplies to teachers and students in areas affected by storms and floods.
Through its small contributions, Hong Ha Stationery hopes to alleviate some of the difficulties and provide additional motivation to help students and teachers quickly resume their studies. In the coming days, the delegation will continue its work in Thai Nguyen and Cao Bang provinces.
For 66 years, Hồng Hà Stationery has developed alongside the nation, always setting its business development goals in conjunction with the national education sector, specifically activities for students – the future generation of the country.
