The event is part of the 50th Anniversary of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh City, themed "50 Years of Educational Innovation: A Mark of the Era - Aspiration for the Future," organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training in collaboration with the Vietnam Vovinam Federation and Nestlé MILO. Vovinam was chosen as the martial art for the group performance to spread the spirit of physical training among students, while simultaneously conveying cultural values, promoting chivalry and national pride. This discipline also contributes to cultivating character, resilience, and a sense of self-discipline in students at this significant milestone for the city's education sector.
For parents, the event is also an opportunity for their children to grow. Mr. Phung Ngoc Hien (Ho Chi Minh City) emotionally shared: "I see my child becoming more confident every day thanks to practicing Vovinam. Standing among thousands of friends, my child seems to understand more clearly what the power of teamwork and national pride mean."
Many students participating in the event felt a positive change in themselves. Le My Trang, a 9th-grade student from Dong Khoi Secondary School, shared: "Before, I was shy, but after practicing with my friends, I feel more confident. The group performance made me feel proud to have the opportunity to contribute to such a big event."
Commenting on the significance of the event, Ms. Huynh Le Nhu Trang, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, said: "Developing school sports has been a key focus of the sector for many years, with Vovinam currently being widely implemented in schools throughout the city. This event further affirms the development of Vovinam in the school environment and its role in physical training for students. With the support of businesses like Nestlé MILO, the sports training movement, especially Vovinam, is spreading more strongly. This is an important step in the educational reform phase, aiming for the comprehensive development of students."
Alongside the mass performance program, for many years Nestlé MILO has also contributed to maintaining meaningful tournaments such as the Nestlé MILO Vovinam Vietnamese Martial Arts Cup, helping to bring Vovinam closer to the younger generation, so that more and more students can access and practice this traditional martial art of the nation.

Aspiration to nurture a dynamic generation of Vietnamese people.
Nestlé MILO becoming a strategic partner of this program is part of the brand's journey to fulfill its commitment to building a dynamic generation of young Vietnamese people. For the past three decades, the brand has consistently aimed to work with relevant authorities to promote school sports through diverse sports activities, including Vovinam, football, basketball, swimming, and aerobics, creating a foundation for children's holistic physical and mental development.
Mr. Binu Jacob, General Director of Nestlé Vietnam, said: "Nestlé values its strategic partnership with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training. The two sides have signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the period 2025-2030 to further promote the sports movement in Ho Chi Minh City. We hope to spread the value of sports to students in Ho Chi Minh City and children nationwide. Through sports, children learn teamwork, willpower, and a never-give-up attitude, contributing to building a dynamic and well-rounded generation."

From Vovinam to national sports programs, Nestlé MILO builds a widespread sports ecosystem, from Energy Summer Camps, ChampMove, Walking Days to professional tournaments in collaboration with government agencies such as the National U11 Football Championship, Phu Dong Sports Festival or the National Sports Games… creating more learning and training opportunities for students nationwide, becoming a foundation for children to continue competing and pursuing a professional sports career.
