At the scene, the Chairman of the City People's Committee directed local authorities to utilize all available means to access and assess the situation in flooded, cut-off, and isolated areas. Forces must proactively provide sufficient food, essential supplies, and medicine, ensuring that people do not suffer from hunger or lack of medicine.
Local authorities must mobilize local resources and strictly implement the "four on-the-spot" principle to respond to floods and landslides. "Prolonged rain has saturated the hillsides, posing a very high risk of landslides. We must absolutely not be complacent. At the first sign of a landslide, residents must be immediately evacuated to a safe place," the Chairman of the City People's Committee cautioned.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee directed that emergency response forces be on standby, plans be made to evacuate residents promptly, and that no vehicles or people be allowed to pass through dangerous areas.
At the same time, communes are proactively reviewing and thoroughly assessing the current situation of areas at risk of landslides in order to have timely solutions and avoid adverse situations.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Pham Duc An, requested that localities review and prioritize essential projects and works to include them in investment programs and plans.
Relevant departments and agencies should propose specific solutions to the city leadership, ensuring they are effective, timely, and substantive.
According to the leaders of Viet An commune, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, the water levels in rivers and streams flowing through the commune are rising rapidly, causing flooding and localized isolation in several villages.
