Specifically, at around 2:00 p.m. the same day, on Provincial Road 9, Khanh Son Pass (Cam An commune), landslides occurred in many locations, stretching about 500m.

Roads are blocked by rocks and strong currents, making access to the scene and cleanup difficult. Vehicles are not allowed to pass through this area to avoid danger.

According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from October 27 to 29, the entire Khanh Hoa province will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, and very heavy rain in some places. The common rainfall in the northern region is from 60-100mm, and in the southern region of the province is from 20-60mm.

Previously, on the evening of October 27, heavy rain caused landslides in many locations on Song Pha Pass (also known as Ngoan Muc Pass, on National Highway 27, passing through Lam Son Commune, Khanh Hoa Province). Currently, the pass road has basically returned to normal, but some locations are still allowing one lane of traffic. Authorities are continuing to clear the debris at the landslide locations. It is expected that by 5:00 p.m. on October 28, the road will be open to two-way traffic.
