Doctor Nguyen Duy Dong was born in 1978. After graduating from the medical school, he left his hometown Thai Binh to work in the mountainous commune of Sung La (Dong Van, Ha Giang in 2001) and continued to attend training courses at Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Regardless of day or night, Dr. Dong is always dedicated and responsible in examining patients in the commune when needed.

Introduction: With the desire to contribute, in 2011, Doctor Dong was able to work at Lung Cu commune health station, the sacred northernmost point of the Fatherland. Here, he did not hesitate to accept the challenges and difficulties in the task of taking care of the health of the people in the highland border commune, always appearing in important directing tasks for all aspects of people's lives. He is currently the Head of Lung Cu health station and a member of the Steering Committee for implementing Directive No. 09 and Resolution No. 27 of the Provincial Party Committee, on eliminating backward customs, practices, and habits, and building a civilized lifestyle. With enthusiasm, creativity, and exemplary leadership of a Party member, Doctor Nguyen Duy Dong always upholds the spirit of responsibility to direct a strong Party cell, completing the tasks of the Party and the State in the work of caring for and protecting people's health.

Doctor Dong often visits people's homes to check their health.

With enthusiasm and desire to explore more about the medical industry, Dr. Dong is not afraid of difficulties and challenges, ready to serve the people when needed.

Realizing the important role of the medical industry and its close connection with the people of the commune, he always combines treatment and propaganda when receiving cases that still follow backward customs.

Realizing the patient's serious condition, Dr. Dong called to request a transfer to Dong Van District General Hospital.

Doctor Dong and his team provided emergency care to a 71-year-old patient who had a stroke at 10 p.m. at Lung Cu commune health station.

All referrals are carried out quickly and accurately, and the smooth coordination between the station's medical staff and the district hospital team helps patients receive timely treatment.

Fighting for the life of a critically ill patient is also a battle for the "white-coat soldiers" on the front line of public health care.
