Ung Hoa commune deploys the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term

HNP - On October 28, the Party Committee of Ung Hoa commune held a conference to announce the results of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress; deploy the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Comrade Nguyen Tien Thiet - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ung Hoa commune chaired the conference.

Comrade Dang Viet Dong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee quickly announced the results of the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

At the Conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune Dang Viet Dong quickly informed the results of the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee. Accordingly, Hanoi aims to become a "Civilized - Modern - Happy" Capital by 2030, with a development level on par with the capitals of advanced countries in the region; a leading political , cultural, educational, scientific - technological, economic and financial center of the country; and at the same time a growth engine of the Red River Delta and the Northern region.

By 2045, Hanoi strives to become a globally connected city with a high standard of living and quality of life, comprehensive and harmonious socio -economic development, reaching a level equivalent to developed capitals in the region and the world; GRDP per capita reaching more than 36,000 USD.

The Congress also set out the goals for the 2026-2030 period: Average GRDP growth of 11% per year or more; GRDP per capita of more than 12,000 USD; Human Development Index (HDI) of about 0.88; Happiness Index (HPI) of 9/10; Urbanization rate of 65-70%; Public passenger transport rate meeting at least 30% of people's travel needs.

According to comrade Dang Viet Dong, to realize those goals, each Party committee and grassroots government needs to concretize the Congress Resolution into the local action program, mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system.

Comrade Dang Viet Dong emphasized that the success of the Congress can only truly come to life when there is consensus and solidarity among all cadres, party members and people. The Party Committee, government and people of Ung Hoa commune are determined to join the Capital in putting the Resolution of the City Party Congress into practice, contributing to building a civilized, modern and happy Hanoi.

Next, at the Conference, Head of the Party Building Committee of the commune Nguyen Duc Thang deployed and disseminated leadership and direction documents on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Delegates were informed and given detailed instructions on the process, preparation timeline, organization, negotiation steps, standards and representative structure; at the same time, they learned and exchanged knowledge about the history of the Vietnamese National Assembly, election terms, new points of the Election Law and common situations in election work.

According to comrade Nguyen Duc Thang, this year's election has many new points, requiring careful and strict preparation, ensuring democracy, objectivity and compliance with the law. The Party Committee and the communal government need to firmly grasp the spirit of direction, organize synchronous tasks, ensure the election is truly a festival for all people, promote the right to mastery, and select worthy delegates to represent the will and aspirations of the people.
