Dong Ngac ward leaders dialogue to resolve people's petitions

HNP - On October 28, Dong Ngac ward organized a direct dialogue conference between the heads of local Party committees and authorities with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, political and social organizations and people in the area in 2025.

In his opening speech, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Ngac Ward, Ngo Van Nam, affirmed that organizing direct dialogues between the heads of Party committees and authorities with the people is a major policy of the Party and State, clearly demonstrating the spirit of democracy, openness, closeness to the people, respect for the people, and service for the people. This is an important occasion for the Party committees and authorities of the ward to grasp the thoughts, aspirations, and feedback of the people, promptly resolve existing problems and limitations in performing the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building and the political system.

The conference received and focused on resolving 24 frank and heartfelt opinions and recommendations from the people on many practical issues, from land management, administrative procedure reform to urban order and social security, contributing to strengthening trust and promoting local development.

Regarding the work of building the Party, government and social organizations, there are opinions related to the activities of associations and unions after implementing the 2-level government model. In particular, some opinions mentioned the work of caring for and policies for elderly members in difficult circumstances; the work of building and developing new party members is facing difficulties due to lack of resources and high assigned targets.

Regarding administrative and land management, people reported that there were still many problems in handling administrative procedures on online public services. In particular, land registration and issuance of land use right certificates were slow and could not be implemented according to the promised schedule.

Regarding urban management, technical infrastructure and environment, many opinions focused on urban civilization, environmental sanitation, traffic, urban order, and parking on the road and sidewalks. Issues related to handling of electrical and telecommunication systems on roads, drainage systems and management of public works such as cultural houses and markets were also mentioned.

Regarding public works and investment projects, there are reports of damaged security camera systems, improperly installed lighting systems; and site clearance work and construction investment projects in the area.

In the spirit of "people know - people discuss - people do - people check - people supervise - people benefit", the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee and specialized agencies of Dong Ngac ward explained, clarified, and seriously accepted many opinions; at the same time, committed to considering and resolving outstanding issues and legitimate recommendations within their authority.

The Party Committee - Ward Government will direct specialized agencies to review, synthesize fully, classify each group of problems specifically, clearly identify responsibilities, develop plans, time and measures to overcome and resolve them thoroughly, and at the same time report the results publicly to the People in accordance with regulations.

Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Ngac Ward, Ngo Van Nam, also requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations to continue promoting their role in supervision and social criticism, accompanying the Party Committee and the government in implementing the commitments after the dialogue.
