It is forecasted that during the day and night of October 29, the water level on the Luy River at Song Luy station will decrease to alert level I (26.5m). However, the risk of landslides on slopes, embankments and flooding in low-lying areas along the upper reaches of rivers and streams remains high, especially in the areas of Song Luy, Luong Son, Hong Thai, Bac Binh, Phan Ri Cua and Hai Ninh. Authorities recommend that people living along rivers and streams continue to be on guard against floods, flash floods and localized flooding that can cause landslides, bury productive land, and affect construction and traffic.
