Scaling up effective agricultural models helps increase farmers' income.

This was a suggestion from Comrade Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, during his visit to a vegetable production model in Don Duong commune.

On the afternoon of October 29th, Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, along with a delegation from the Provincial People's Committee, visited the high-tech agricultural production model of Cao Nguyen Clean Food and Agricultural Products Co., Ltd. in Don Duong commune.

The delegation included Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc; leaders of the Department of Finance, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and other relevant units.

The delegation from the Provincial People's Committee visited a model of hydroponic vegetable cultivation in a greenhouse.

Cao Nguyen Clean Agricultural and Food Products Co., Ltd. is operating with the aim of increasing production value per unit area, applying specialized techniques to improve and care for crops, creating efficiency in clean vegetable production. A highlight is the hydroponic vegetable farming model in greenhouses.

Currently, the company has 23 hectares of production land, of which 13 hectares are in partnership with local households in the commune. The entire area is VietGAP certified, with an annual output of approximately 4,300 tons, mainly supplying the Ho Chi Minh City market.

To date, Cao Nguyen Agricultural and Food Products Co., Ltd. has built a sustainable value chain with promising activities, bringing many benefits to its employees.

The company is applying many modern, environmentally friendly techniques to its production process.

After visiting the model farm, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi highly appreciated the modern, environmentally friendly production process of the enterprise, contributing to increased productivity and economic value.

Comrade Ho Van Muoi emphasized that, in order to develop sustainable agriculture, there needs to be close links between businesses, cooperatives, and farmers, in order to form a closed value chain from production to consumption.

Lam Dong province encourages businesses to continue investing in technological innovation, applying digital transformation in management, traceability, and building distinctive agricultural product brands of Lam Dong.

In the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will coordinate with other departments, agencies, and localities to research and develop modern, safe, and environmentally friendly agricultural production models, contributing to increasing the value of agricultural products and income for farmers in Lam Dong.
