In Thai Nguyen province, during the 2021-2025 period, the province focused on applying quality management systems and improvement tools – a key task of Program 1322. Specifically, the province supported 17 businesses in applying ISO, Kaizen, 5S, and advanced measurement systems; and built a traceability model for "Phu Luong Tea" and "Dai Tu Tea".

In addition, projects under Program 1322, such as ISO 22301 (business continuity management), ISO 15189:2022 (laboratory competence), and OEE, have supported many businesses, contributing to improved operational capacity and adaptability to market fluctuations.
In Phu Tho province , during the 2021-2025 period, the province also supported businesses in developing 1,300 basic standards, implementing 365 models, 281 technological processes, and 80 advanced solutions. Notably, the province certified 593 OCOP products with 3 stars or higher, which is one of the outstanding results in implementing the OCOP program under Program 1322.
Meanwhile, Lai Chau province has implemented a comprehensive set of tasks to improve the productivity, quality, and efficiency of businesses in the area. The focus of the program is to support businesses in accessing advanced quality management systems such as ISO, HACCP, and VietGAP; to enhance the application of new technologies, clean technologies, and improvement tools to optimize production processes. The province is also promoting digital transformation in business management and operations, especially in the fields of agricultural processing, handicrafts, and OCOP products.
Simultaneously, Lai Chau focuses on developing databases on standards, measurements, and quality, and implementing electronic traceability for key products, helping to enhance reputation and market access. Training and development of productivity and quality experts and staff are also being promoted, creating a foundation for disseminating improvement methods to small and medium-sized enterprises. Thanks to these efforts, many businesses in Lai Chau have improved production efficiency, increased competitiveness, and enhanced the added value of the province's distinctive products.
According to Tran Hau Ngoc, Vice Chairman of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality, ministries, sectors, and localities have successfully implemented Program 1322 in recent times. For example, more than 6,000 businesses have directly benefited from the program, experiencing increased labor productivity, reduced warehousing time, and improved operational processes. Many models applying Lean, ESG, or advanced management practices have shown very positive results.
"As of November 2025, 102 model enterprises have been established to improve productivity and quality, for sharing and replication. Thus, the goal of establishing model enterprises for productivity and quality in the 2021-2030 period has been completed five years ahead of schedule," Mr. Ngoc added.
Regarding future solutions, the representative of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality emphasized that ministries and sectors need to pay more attention to issuing specific action programs and plans. In the context of administrative unit restructuring, Mr. Ngoc expressed his hope that the 34 newly established provinces and cities will soon issue resolutions to implement the plan for the 2026-2030 period.
It is evident that the implementation of Program 1322/QD-TTg in localities has demonstrated that standardization and technological innovation are effective tools to help businesses improve productivity, enhance quality, and expand markets. These changes create an important foundation for localities to continue to make breakthroughs in the 2026-2030 period, aiming towards the goal of improving competitiveness and sustainable development.
