Thanh 1 Bridge actively builds a new life.

For many years, Cau Thanh 1 hamlet (Dai Phuc commune) has been recognized as a shining example in the movement to build a cultured way of life in residential areas. With the strong consensus of the people, the spirit of solidarity, and the determination to maintain a civilized lifestyle, Cau Thanh 1 has consecutively achieved the title of "Cultural Hamlet" for five years.

Cau Thanh 1 hamlet currently has 176 households, comprising 7 ethnic groups living together, with over 90% of the households achieving the title of "Culturally Advanced Family".

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hoan, the village head, shared: "Achieving the title of 'Cultural Village' for many consecutive years is not a simple matter. But what is valuable about Cau Thanh 1 is that everyone is aware that this is a shared title of the community, so everyone tries to preserve it and contribute to its development."

Besides excelling in building a civilized way of life, the villagers also pay special attention to promoting education, protecting the environment, and fostering unity. Funeral and wedding ceremonies are organized economically and respectfully; outdated customs are eliminated, giving way to a modern lifestyle while still retaining strong national identity.

One of the highlights contributing to the flourishing of Cau Thanh 1 is the attention paid to rural transportation infrastructure. Currently, over 90% of the roads within the hamlet have been paved with concrete, facilitating travel and trade.

In particular, thanks to the collective contributions of the residents, the hamlet has expanded nearly 200 meters of internal roads, widening the 2-meter-wide road to over 4 meters. Many households have voluntarily donated land, assets on the land, and contributed labor, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and strong community bonds.

In the coming time, according to the plan, the internal village roads will continue to be expanded, not only changing the appearance of the village but also opening up opportunities for economic development, especially for agricultural households that need to transport agricultural products.

Currently, about 70% of the households in the hamlet live by farming , mainly growing vegetables and ornamental plants. Thanks to the application of science and technology, many households have boldly changed their crop structure, aiming for safe and sustainable production.

Many vegetable growing areas have been cultivated according to safety standards, VietGAP, contributing to improving product quality and meeting the increasing demands of the market. This is also a direction that Dai Phuc commune is encouraging to increase people's income and create a stable commodity production area.

Besides vegetables, growing ornamental plants is also becoming an effective economic activity for many families. Among them, exemplary households such as Nguyen Van Tien and Dang Van Than have built ornamental plant gardens that provide stable income, create jobs for family members, and contribute to beautifying the neighborhood.

Despite achieving many positive results, Cau Thanh 1 hamlet still has 5 poor households and 3 near-poor households. This is a common concern for the local government and residents. The hamlet has set a goal to reduce the number of poor and near-poor households by 2026 through livelihood support, guidance on production techniques, facilitating access to preferential loans, and promoting mutual support movements for economic development.

In the coming period, the hamlet will continue to aim to maintain and improve the criteria for a cultural hamlet; promote the transformation of the agricultural economic structure; boost the production of safe vegetables and develop ornamental plants into distinctive products; focus on sustainable poverty reduction; and build a green, clean, and safe living environment.
