A resident of Tich Luong ward returned 150 million VND that was mistakenly transferred to the wrong account.

The police in Tich Luong ward, Thai Nguyen province, recently assisted a local resident in successfully returning 150 million VND that had been mistakenly transferred to the wrong account.

Ms. Hoang Thi Tam handed over the entire 150 million VND to the Tich Luong Ward Police to return it to the person who mistakenly transferred it.

Previously, on December 4th, Ms. Hoang Thi Tam, born in 1987, residing in Phu Xa 3 residential area, Tich Luong ward, reported to the Tich Luong Ward Police Station that her VietinBank account had received 150 million VND transferred by someone else. Determining that the money was not hers, Ms. Tam handed over the entire amount and requested the police to assist in finding the account holder so she could return the money to the person who mistakenly transferred it.

Upon verification, the Tich Luong Ward Police determined that the owner of the money was Ms. Hoang Thi Tam, born in 1992, residing in Xom Chua area, Viet Hung commune, Phu Tho province. Recently, Ms. Tam came to the Tich Luong Ward Police station to complete the procedures to reclaim the money.

Ms. Hoang Thi Tam's responsible and humane actions demonstrate honesty and respect for the law, contributing to the spread of positive images of good people and good deeds in society today.
