Vocational College No. 1 - Ministry of National Defence: Inaugurates and puts into operation the Driving Training and Testing Center.

On December 11-12, the No. 1 Vocational College of the Ministry of National Defense held an inauguration ceremony to officially open its Driving Training and Testing Center after a large-scale upgrade and renovation. Attending the ceremony were Major General Truong Manh Dung, Commander of Military Region 1; leaders from various departments, agencies, and units; and representatives from vocational education institutions in the province.

The Driving Training and Testing Center, built on an area of ​​over 50,000m², commenced construction in late July 2025, with the following components: testing grounds, theoretical testing rooms, simulation rooms, an administration building, and a system of supporting facilities... At the same time, the school also added nearly 60 new vehicles and equipment, meeting the standards for facilities, equipment, and training and testing procedures in a synchronized and modern manner.

The commissioning of the Driving Training and Testing Center not only enhances the school's capacity for training automobile drivers but also contributes to expanding job opportunities for students, practically serving the national defense and socio-economic development of the locality.

These results create an important foundation for the school to make breakthroughs in the new phase.

Major General Truong Manh Dung emphasized: To enhance the effectiveness of the Driving Training and Examination Center and improve its training reputation, the school needs to focus on implementing five key tasks in the coming period: improving training quality, continuing to innovate the curriculum and standardize textbooks; building a team of officers and teachers with solid knowledge and excellent expertise; increasing the effectiveness of training linked to employment; expanding cooperation and proactively integrating with businesses and localities, creating a favorable environment for recruitment and improving training quality according to modern standards; maintaining discipline and order, and building a regular and exemplary school.
