The Provincial Military Command organized the 2025 military-political conference.

On December 11th, under the chairmanship of Colonel Dinh Bat Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Commander of the Provincial Military Command; the Party Committee and the Military Command of Nghe An province held a military-political conference to summarize military and national defense work in 2025 and to implement key directions and tasks for 2026.

In 2025, the Provincial Party Committee and Military Command made proactive efforts to advise local Party committees and authorities; leading and implementing comprehensive and in-depth work across all aspects. This included planning and deploying the national defense and security posture, border defense work, protecting territorial sovereignty, border security, and maritime areas, in conjunction with socio-economic development.

The military command organized military agencies according to a two-tiered local government structure. They strictly maintained combat readiness, flood and storm prevention, and rescue operations. They deployed and organized exercises at all levels; notably, they led and directed the Regional Defense Command 1 - Van An and Yen Trung commune to organize a practical exercise for the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region to learn from, which was highly appreciated by all levels.

Training for the target groups was organized according to the correct program, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and achieving good results. Recruitment, enrollment, and training in national defense and security knowledge were implemented synchronously, achieving 100% of the recruitment target with good quality. The construction of military components within the defense zone, combat structures, and training grounds was carried out on schedule. Security protection, civilian mobilization, and special propaganda work were conducted systematically. The implementation of policies and regulations, gratitude and remembrance activities, and the search and collection of the remains of fallen soldiers were carried out effectively.

The Ministry of National Defense awarded Certificates of Commendation to collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in flood prevention and control following Typhoon No. 3 in the area.

Effectively implementing education and propaganda work on emulation movements and breakthroughs. The leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations have been enhanced; internal unity and cohesion are high, agencies and units maintain stability and develop steadily; the Provincial Military Command was awarded the First Class Order of National Defense and was recommended by the Military Region to the Ministry of National Defense for the "Emulation Flag" in the emulation movement for decisive victory in 2025.

The conference discussed, agreed upon, and proposed several contents for the implementation of military and national defense tasks in 2026. Awards and commendations from the Ministry of National Defense, the 4th Military Region Command, and the Nghe An Provincial Military Command were presented to 28 collectives and 225 individuals of the regular army forces, and 84 collectives and 294 individuals of the militia and self-defense forces for their outstanding achievements in the Emulation Campaign for Victory of the Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces in 2025.
