| Food safety inspection team at Sunrise Kid Kindergarten. |
According to the program, the inspection team will comprehensively assess compliance with the Food Safety Law and related regulations, focusing on the facility's legal documentation, kitchen equipment conditions, and staff health checks and training. The inspection will be conducted with a focus on areas with potential risks following the October floods, as well as at facilities with a large number of boarding children.
The on-site inspection results showed that educational institutions had proactively carried out thorough cleaning, reviewed suppliers, and strengthened internal supervision to ensure student safety. Kitchens were organized according to a one-way principle, with separate areas for receiving, preparing, and processing food; fresh food had clear contracts and invoices; and the three-step food inspection process, food sample retention, and monitoring of delivery and receipt were strictly implemented.
The year-end comprehensive inspection is expected to help raise awareness among administrators, teachers, and kitchen staff, and create a safer school environment for children.
Previously, over the past nine months, the Department of Health also inspected 99 food service establishments and handled 6 cases of violations with fines totaling over 128 million VND.
