The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Farmers' Association of Khau Vai Commune

On the afternoon of October 29, the Farmers' Association of Khau Vai commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were comrade Chu Thi Ngoc Diep, Chairwoman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; leaders of Khau Vai commune and 100 delegates representing more than 2,800 farmer members of the commune.

Khau Vai commune has a natural area of ​​107.46 km², a population of more than 22,300 people, of which 95% are Mong ethnic people, and a poverty rate of more than 50%. In recent years, despite many difficulties, the work of the Association and the farmers' movement has had many positive changes. The emulation movements for good production and business, building new rural areas, and helping each other reduce poverty have been widely implemented, with 540 households achieving the title of good farmers and businessmen, and more than 80 households escaping poverty sustainably.

The work of building the Association's organization has been strengthened with 36 branches and more than 2,800 members participating regularly; credit activities, loan support of more than 630 million VND, and transfer of science and technology have been effectively implemented, contributing to improving the lives of members.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Chu Thi Ngoc Diep, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, commended the achievements of the Commune Farmers' Association and proposed to continue innovating and improving operational efficiency; promoting digital transformation, supporting members in applying science and technology, developing sustainable agriculture ; actively participating in Party and government building, maintaining rural security and promoting the core role in the great national unity bloc.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Farmers' Association of Khau Vai commune strives to build a strong organization, promote the spirit of "Solidarity - Creativity - Self-reliance", reduce the poverty rate to below 30%, and by 2030, 60% of villages will meet new rural standards. The Association focuses on propaganda, raising political awareness, developing effective economic models, building "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful Road", maintaining branches free of social evils, praising and replicating advanced models.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Khau Vai commune, term I, 2025-2030, and delegates to attend the congress at a higher level.
