The Na Ri Commune Farmers' Association was established on the basis of merging the Kim Lu Commune Farmers' Association, Son Thanh Commune Farmers' Association and Yen Lac Town Farmers' Association, with nearly 1,500 members. Promoting the tradition of solidarity, self-reliance, aspiration for development, promoting the application of science, technology, innovation, enhancing the role of farmers as the subject and center in agricultural and rural economic development, the 1st Congress of the Na Ri Commune Farmers' Association, term 2025-2030, was successfully held.

During the last term, the Na Ri Commune Farmers’ Association had 354 households achieving the title of good production and business, and 30 poor members were helped. The Association actively propagated and mobilized members to participate in collective economy and established cooperatives and interest groups such as: growing tea, growing fruit trees, raising bees, raising buffaloes, etc.

With the guidance and encouragement of the Farmers' Association, high-quality agricultural production models have developed in many localities in the province.

Political and ideological propaganda and education work was effectively carried out with 144 sessions/26 branches, attracting 5,840 members. Of which, propaganda on directives and resolutions of the Party and the Association took place in 35 sessions/1,940 sessions; on laws in 45 sessions/1,700 sessions; studying the example of Ho Chi Minh in 5 sessions/150 sessions; and prevention and control of African swine fever in 39 sessions/1,555 sessions. In addition, other contents were integrated into branch activities.

Along with the success of the Na Ri Commune Farmers' Association Congress, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province have also successfully organized new term congresses with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development". The congresses all affirmed the determination to build the Farmers' Association organization increasingly stronger, promoting its central and core role in the farmers' movement and the new rural construction. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals, improving the material and spiritual life of members and local people.

To prepare well for the grassroots People's Council congress, from the beginning of August 2025, People's Councils at all levels have reviewed and prepared personnel, drafted political reports, action programs and propaganda work before, during and after the congress.

The new and outstanding point in the preparation work for the Farmers’ Association Congress at all levels for the 2025-2030 term is the innovation in approach, content and organizational form towards a more practical, effective and modern direction. The political report was carefully prepared, with the participation and wide comments of Farmers’ Associations at all levels, cadres, members and experts to ensure closeness to reality, clearly demonstrating the role and position of the peasant class in the new period.

Personnel work is built in the direction of rejuvenation, improving the quality of the team, meeting the requirements of digital transformation in agriculture, farmers and rural areas. Propaganda work about the congress is promoted in many rich forms, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among cadres and members.

In addition, HND levels also focus on applying information technology in management, decoration, and organization of congresses, demonstrating a spirit of innovation and dynamism, in line with current development trends.

Mr. Phan Thanh Ha, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Thai Nguyen province, said: The organization work was carried out seriously, solemnly, safely, economically and with quality. The grassroots congresses all demonstrated the spirit of innovation and democracy, frankly acknowledging the results achieved, pointing out the limitations, and at the same time proposing specific directions and tasks for the new term, associated with the goal of building a strong Farmers' Association, enhancing the role of the peasant class in the new period.

After the grassroots congress, the 1st Congress of Thai Nguyen Provincial Farmers' Association is expected to be held in mid-November 2025. In the coming term, the Provincial Farmers' Association has determined the key goal to continue improving the material and spiritual life and position of farmer members in agricultural and rural development.

The Congress will set out a number of specific targets such as: Every year, over 50% of farmer households register to achieve the title of "Good Farmer in Production and Business"; over 80% of the Association's grassroots units have effective collective economic models; 100% of Association officials and branch heads of the Farmers' Association are equipped with knowledge of agriculture, rural economy, and Association work; at least 70% of farmer members are equipped with digital knowledge and skills.
