Building a team of trade union officials in Hong Ha ward with innovative thinking.

On the afternoon of October 29th, the first Congress of the Hong Ha Ward Trade Union, for the term 2025-2030, was successfully held.

Since its establishment, the Hong Ha Ward Trade Union has promptly strengthened its organization, developed operational regulations, established information-sharing groups, implemented guidelines for grassroots trade union congresses, and effectively advised the Party Committee and government on issues related to workers.

The Congress defined the motto for action: "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development," along with key objectives such as: 100% of trade union officials receiving professional training; 90% of union members and workers being informed and educated on policies and guidelines; 85% of enterprises signing collective labor agreements; 100% of grassroots trade unions applying digital transformation, aiming for "paperless meetings."

Patriotic emulation movements were launched enthusiastically, attracting a large number of workers to participate; labor relations were basically stable, with no strikes or work stoppages; and the material and spiritual lives of workers improved. The ward's trade union has initially played its role as a bridge between workers and employers, contributing to building harmonious, progressive, and stable labor relations in the area.

Delivering a guiding speech at the congress, Bui Tuan Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hong Ha Ward, emphasized that the Ward's Trade Union needs to continue affirming its role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members and workers; promoting the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and creativity to successfully complete its tasks in the new term.

In addition, the Party Secretary of the ward also requested the ward's Trade Union to focus on building a team of capable and intelligent trade union officials, strongly applying technology and digital transformation in management, striving for 100% digitization of documents and meetings; improving the effectiveness of dialogue and collective bargaining, ensuring employment, wages, and occupational safety and health for workers.

"Trade union officials must be truly dedicated, responsible, innovative, flexible, and creative – worthy of being a reliable support for workers," Comrade Bui Tuan Anh emphasized.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor appointing the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Hong Ha Ward Trade Union. Ms. Vu Thi Bich Hang was appointed as the Chairperson of the Hong Ha Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025 - 2030.
