Building a team of union officials in Hong Ha ward with innovative thinking

On the afternoon of October 29, the 1st Congress of Hong Ha Ward Trade Union, term 2025-2030 was successfully held.

Since its establishment, Hong Ha Ward Trade Union has urgently improved its organization, built operating regulations, established information connection groups, implemented guidelines for grassroots trade union congresses and effectively advised Party committees and authorities on issues related to workers.

The Congress determined the motto of action: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", with key goals such as: 100% of union officials are trained and have professional skills; 90% of union members and workers are propagandized and learn policies and guidelines; 85% of enterprises sign collective labor agreements; 100% of grassroots unions apply digital transformation, towards "paperless meetings".

Patriotic emulation movements were launched enthusiastically, attracting a large number of workers to participate; labor relations were basically stable, no strikes or work stoppages occurred; the material and spiritual life of workers was improved. The ward union initially promoted its role as a bridge between workers and employers, contributing to building harmonious, progressive and stable labor relations in the area.

Speaking at the congress, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hong Ha Ward Bui Tuan Anh emphasized that the Ward Trade Union needs to continue to affirm its role as a representative, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; promoting the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity to successfully complete its tasks in the new term.

In addition, the Ward Party Secretary also requested the Ward Trade Union to focus on building a team of union officials with courage and intelligence, strongly applying technology and digital transformation in management work, striving to digitize 100% of documents and meetings; improve the effectiveness of dialogue and collective bargaining, ensure jobs, wages, and occupational safety and hygiene for workers.

“Union officials must be truly dedicated, responsible, innovative, flexible, and creative - worthy of being a reliable support for workers,” Comrade Bui Tuan Anh emphasized.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation to appoint the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Hong Ha Ward Trade Union. Ms. Vu Thi Bich Hang was appointed as the Chairwoman of the Hong Ha Ward Trade Union for the first term, 2025 - 2030.
