The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission accepts scientific topics

On October 29, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission held a conference to review the provincial-level science and technology project "Research and evaluation of theoretical and literary criticism work in Thai Nguyen in the 50 years after the country's reunification and development orientations in the coming time". Comrade Do Thi Minh Hoa, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, chaired the conference.

Overview of the Conference.

The provincial-level science and technology topic "Research and evaluation of theoretical and literary and artistic criticism in Thai Nguyen in the 50 years after the country's reunification and future development orientations" is in the field of literature and art; focusing on investigating, surveying, and evaluating the current status and quality of theoretical and literary and artistic criticism in Thai Nguyen in the past 50 years (1975-2025).

In addition, the research team built a digital collection of documents on the theory and criticism of literature and art in the province; at the same time, proposed a set of criteria to support the evaluation and selection of literary and artistic works to serve the work of propaganda and political and ideological education in the new situation.

The project has practical significance, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2008 of the 10th Politburo "on continuing to build and develop literature and art in the new period" (Resolution 23).

At the Conference, the members of the Acceptance Council highly appreciated the meticulous and serious preparation of the Project Management Board. The products were presented scientifically, convincingly, and met practical requirements.

Some comments suggested that the research team expand the scope or extend the implementation period of the topic to increase comprehensiveness.

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Do Thi Minh Hoa praised the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Steering Committee and the research team.

Comrade Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department   It is recommended that in the coming time, the research team should clarify the scope and research subjects in accordance with changes in administrative boundaries; ensure that the content of the report and products closely follow the spirit of Resolution 23. Along with that, it is necessary to supplement the assessment of the socio-economic impact of the topic, complete the content before sending it back to the Council for review, scoring, and official acceptance.
