The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department approves the scientific research project.

On October 29th, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review and approve the provincial-level science and technology research project "Research and evaluation of theoretical and critical work in literature and art in Thai Nguyen province during the 50 years after national reunification and future development orientations". Ms. Do Thi Minh Hoa, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the conference.

Overview of the Conference.

The provincial-level science and technology project "Research and evaluation of literary and artistic theory and criticism in Thai Nguyen during the 50 years after national reunification and future development orientations" belongs to the field of literature and art; focusing on investigating, surveying, and evaluating the current state and quality of literary and artistic theory and criticism activities in Thai Nguyen over the past 50 years (1975-2025).

In addition, the research team developed a digitized collection of documents on literary and artistic theory and criticism in the province; and simultaneously proposed a set of criteria to support the evaluation and selection of literary and artistic works serving political and ideological propaganda and education in the new situation.

This project has practical significance, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2008, of the Politburo of the 10th Party Congress "on continuing to build and develop literature and art in the new era" (Resolution 23).

Representatives from the Steering Committee and the research team gave speeches.

At the conference, the members of the evaluation council highly appreciated the meticulous and serious preparation of the project team. The products were presented scientifically, convincingly, and met practical requirements.

Some suggested that the research team expand the scope or extend the duration of the project to increase its comprehensiveness.

A representative from the Review Board delivered a speech at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Do Thi Minh Hoa commended the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Steering Committee and the research team on the project.

Comrade Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department   It is suggested that in the future, the research team further clarify the scope and subjects of the research to suit the changes in administrative boundaries; ensuring that the report content and products closely adhere to the spirit of Resolution 23. In addition, it is necessary to supplement the socio-economic impact assessment of the project and finalize the content before submitting it to the Council for review, scoring, and official acceptance.
