The First Congress of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union is taking place in the context of the province's recent merger and the implementation of a two-tiered local government model. Alongside the advantages, this new operational model also creates many difficulties and challenges in caring for and protecting union members and workers. I expect the Congress to develop a breakthrough operational strategy with a long-term vision and innovative, creative methods of operation. In particular, I propose that the Provincial Trade Union pay special attention to union members and workers, especially those in grassroots trade unions far from the city center, newly established, or small-scale.

As a representative of the workers, I hope that the First Congress of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union will create a strong shift in caring for the rights of workers, improving the quality of trade union officials, promoting practical emulation movements, and building a stronger, more innovative, and closer-to-workers trade union organization. From there, it will create a close bond between employers, trade union officials, and workers.

As the Chairman of the grassroots trade union, I expect that the First Congress of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union, for the term 2025-2030, will provide practical directions and more effective support for grassroots trade union activities, especially in cadre training, improving dialogue skills, and better caring for union members. I believe the Congress will create a new turning point, helping trade unions at all levels become stronger and more closely involved with workers.”

With the sense of responsibility of a grassroots trade union chairman, I hope that the First Congress of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union will formulate strategic policies, creating a strong shift in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers. At the same time, the Provincial Trade Union will continue to innovate its methods of operation, build a stronger and more professional provincial trade union organization, and contribute positively to the sustainable development of the locality in the new period.

As a union member, I expect that the movement to promote innovation and improve skills in the coming period will be implemented more extensively and effectively, creating an environment that helps workers proactively learn, hone their skills, apply new technologies, and develop innovative initiatives. I hope the Trade Union will continue to accompany and support training and professional development, honor outstanding individuals, thereby inspiring a spirit of competition, contributing to increased productivity and quality of work, and building an increasingly professional and modern workforce.

I expect that, entering the 2025-2030 term, the Trade Union of Thai Nguyen province will continue to play its role as a solid support for workers; paying even closer attention to the lives and housing needs of its members, especially those in difficult circumstances. The "Trade Union Shelter" program will increasingly spread, bringing many new, warm homes, helping members feel secure in their work, and contributing to the development of the working class in Thai Nguyen province.

Over the past period, workers have clearly felt the care, attention, and support of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union. We appreciate the efforts of the Trade Union organization in protecting the rights, improving welfare, and providing timely support to union members, especially during difficult times. We hope that in the next term, the Provincial Trade Union will continue to play its role as a reliable support, constantly innovating and implementing practical programs to improve the lives, jobs, and happiness of union members and workers.

As a union member, I hope that the new team of union officials will be individuals with strong character, competence, and a spirit of dedication, to stand alongside workers and fully represent the voices and aspirations of workers during this period of rapid development and strong integration of the province. When union officials possess the necessary competence, moral character, and political integrity, they will be a solid support for workers and contribute to building an increasingly reputable and strong organization within the political system.
