According to Nguyen Manh Ha, Director of the Dan Phuong Commune Cultural, Information and Sports Center, this year's tournament brought together 14 teams, divided into 4 groups for a round-robin competition, with the top teams advancing to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals. The tournament attracted great interest from the people and fans in the area.
Throughout the organization process, the Commune's Cultural, Information and Sports Center closely coordinated with the Commune's Youth Union in propaganda work, mobilizing volunteers, coordinating the matches, and supporting logistical work. The active involvement of the Commune's Youth Union significantly contributed to creating a vibrant, youthful atmosphere and spreading the spirit of sportsmanship within the community.
Opening and competing from November 15th to December 13th, a total of 25 matches took place with a spirit of enthusiasm, sportsmanship, honesty, and fair play. The teams delivered many exciting and dramatic matches with high professional quality; many beautiful goals came from long-range shots, headers, set pieces, and skillful team coordination.
The tournament not only brought laughter from the joy of victory and moments of regret, but more importantly, it created a healthy and beneficial playground, contributing to improving health, strengthening interaction and solidarity, and developing the mass sports movement in the commune.
Following the exciting and dramatic matches, the Organizing Committee and the Technical Committee have determined the outstanding teams and individuals. The first prize went to Dong Thap team, the second prize to Phuong Dinh team, and the third prize to Lien Trung and Lien Ha teams; the individual award went to Nguyen Tat Hai Nam of Hong Ha club; and the best goalkeeper award went to Nguyen Cong Son of Dong Thap club.
