Strengthening the positions of head and deputy head of the panel of lay judges of the Provincial People's Court.

On the morning of October 29, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the People's Court of Thai Nguyen Province held a conference to elect the head and deputy head of the People's Court's panel of lay judges for the 2021-2026 term.

At the conference, the judges of the Provincial People's Court elected the head and deputy head of the delegation by voting.

As a result, Comrade Dang Thi Kim Oanh, Deputy Principal of the Provincial Political School, was elected as the Head of the Panel of Judges of the Provincial People's Court for the 2021-2026 term; Comrades Nguyen Huy Hoang, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, and Be Ngoc Hung, former Chief of the Office of the Department of Health of Bac Kan province (now retired), were elected as Deputy Heads of the Panel of Judges of the Provincial People's Court.

The leaders of the Provincial People's Council congratulated the comrades elected as the head and deputy head of the panel of lay judges of the Provincial People's Court.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Mai Thi Thuy Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, urged the lay judges to continue upholding a high sense of responsibility and political integrity, cultivating moral character, and fulfilling their rights and obligations as lay judges; actively participating with the court system in judicial work, contributing to building an increasingly clean and strong judicial system, and effectively serving the political tasks of the locality.

In her acceptance speech, Comrade Dang Thi Kim Oanh, Head of the People's Jury Panel of the Provincial People's Court for the 2021-2026 term, respectfully thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the leadership of the Provincial People's Court, and the people's jurors for their trust and confidence.

He affirmed that, in their new positions, the collective leadership of the panel of lay judges will continue to uphold the spirit of unity and responsibility, constantly learn, improve their professional skills and expertise, and contribute to the court's effective performance of adjudication, ensuring fairness, objectivity, and adherence to the law.
