| The "Sao Mai Classic Music" Club always strives for professionalism when staging meticulously prepared performances. |
The "Sao Mai Classic Music" Club was founded in 2018, with its main headquarters in Linh Son ward, with a very simple initial aspiration: to create a space for people who love singing to meet, interact, and satisfy their passion through online singing sessions.
At that time, the club had just over 1,000 members, mostly older people or those who loved classic music. As the club became more active, everyone realized that behind the familiar melodies, behind each song, the club was gradually becoming a shared home.
Members of Sao Mai not only sing but also find sharing, empathy, and rediscover joy in life. As a result, after 7 years of operation, the number of members has increased to over 8,000.
Meeting regularly six evenings a week, the singing club offers a diverse range of musical genres: sentimental songs, revolutionary songs, and more. These emotionally charged sessions motivate thousands of people to live more positively each day.
What's valuable is that the more members participate, the more they realize that the Club is not just a place to fulfill their passion for singing, but also a place to connect and show love – just as Ms. An Thi Chin shared: For the Club to operate effectively, it must connect with the community, integrate into life, and help the poor and those in particularly difficult circumstances. When that is achieved, music truly becomes meaningful.

| Members of the club provided support to people in Dak Lak during the recent floods. |
The club's volunteer activities have become one of its distinctive features, maintained regularly over the years. The most recent trip in early December is clear evidence of this.
Upon hearing the news that Dak Lak province was severely affected by floods, the Sao Mai Classic Music Club quickly launched a fundraising campaign and coordinated with several other charitable organizations and units to transport nearly 40 tons of goods and essential supplies to support the people in the affected areas.
"Although the gifts are not large, they represent the sincere feelings of thousands of members, helping the people of Dak Lak overcome this difficult period," said Ms. An Thi Chin.
And it is this sincerity that has nurtured, preserved, and transformed Sao Mai's Old Music community into a special place – where songs blend into life, making life warmer and more meaningful.
In this age of technological advancement, maintaining a regular six-session-per-week schedule with the participation of over 10,000 people is no easy feat. However, thanks to the dedication of Ms. An Thi Chin and the members of the executive board, and the solidarity of the members, the Club continues to operate and spread positive values.
