Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao, President of the Women's Union of Phu Thuan commune, said that the whole commune currently has 5,091 women, including 3,729 members. Notably, there are more than 1,350 members who are traders and workers working in factories and companies in and outside the locality. Due to the nature of their busy work, many women do not have the conditions to participate in union activities directly in residential areas. From that reality, implementing the model "Gathering women on cyberspace" is considered a suitable direction, helping to connect members in a more flexible and convenient way.
According to Ms. Thao, the model initially attracted 50 members, women aged 18 to 55. The members operate on a voluntary and self-conscious basis, sharing information and experiences, and supporting each other in work and life. The Commune Women's Union has established Zalo and Facebook groups for members to easily connect, receive guidance on how to exploit information and interact effectively online. Ms. Pham Thi My, a member of Tay Le village, shared that implementing the model "Gathering women on cyberspace" is very necessary and suitable for the current trend. Through online groups, women can quickly update information, share experiences and participate in the activities of the association no matter where they are.
The model of “Gathering women on cyberspace” aims to build a healthy “playground” where women can exchange interests, aspirations, and personal needs; at the same time, promptly update the Party’s policies, the State’s policies as well as emulation movements launched by the Women’s Union. Thereby, helping members, even though they are far away, still feel attached and accompany the organization, contributing to strengthening solidarity in the women’s community.
Not only providing information, the model is also considered an effective communication channel, helping to spread typical examples of exemplary women, introduce good economic models, creative startups, and at the same time promote propaganda on gender equality, prevention of domestic violence, child protection and programs to support women's comprehensive development.

In addition, the model also creates conditions for young women, workers, traders, and those who have little opportunity to participate in collective activities to access the activities and events of the association through the online environment. This is also an important channel for the association to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of its members, promptly support and resolve difficulties related to life, work and social security.
For the model to operate effectively, according to the Women's Union of Phu Thuan commune, in the coming time, the union will continue to improve the content of activities, promote online interaction forms such as sharing videos , vivid images, organizing "livestream" propaganda sessions, discussions or participating in online competitions launched by the women's union at higher levels. At the same time, the Women's Union of the commune plans to replicate the model "Gathering women on cyberspace" to 20 affiliated branches, creating a widespread spread throughout the area.
Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Nguyet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Thuan commune, said that the launch of the model "Gathering women on cyberspace" not only helps to improve the effectiveness of the association's activities but also contributes to the formation of a class of "digital members", dynamic, confident women who proactively access knowledge and technology in the digital transformation period. This is an innovation and creativity of the association in adapting to the technology era, while affirming the role of women in Phu Thuan commune in the construction of a new, civilized and modern countryside.
