Agribank Lam Dong donated more than 700 million VND to help people in flood-affected areas and the Fund for the Poor.

On the morning of October 27, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Lam Dong branch donated 210 million VND to support people affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) and 500 million VND to the province's "For the Poor" Fund.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, Director of Agribank Lam Dong branch, affirmed that the unit will always accompany the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in social security activities in the coming time.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, Director of Agribank Lam Dong branch, said that every year, Agribank always sets aside a part of its budget to implement social security, charity and humanitarian activities in the province. In addition to supporting the fields of health, education and vulnerable groups, Agribank also actively participates in donating and supporting people in disaster areas. Thereby demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, contributing to sharing difficulties, helping people to stabilize their lives soon.

Responding to the Peak Month "For the Poor" in 2025 (taking place from October 17 to November 18), Agribank Lam Dong also donated 500 million VND to the province's "For the Poor" Fund. The Director of Agribank Lam Dong affirmed that the staff and employees of the unit will always accompany the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in social security activities, supporting people affected by natural disasters in the coming time.

Agribank Lam Dong branch donated 210 million VND to support people to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 10.

He said that in recent times, the spirit of “sharing food and clothes” among the people, organizations and businesses in the province has been strongly promoted. Up to now, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has received 29.5 billion VND in support from agencies, units and localities. This amount has been transferred to support the northern provinces affected by storms and floods and will continue to be allocated transparently and openly to other disadvantaged localities.
