The autumn-winter tourist season in Quang Ninh is entering its most exciting phase with a series of large-scale events such as the Ha Long Concert 2025, OCOP Fair, Food Festival, National Travel Forum... Each program is a strong "push", contributing to promoting the image of Quang Ninh as a dynamic, modern, friendly and attractive place. Not only bringing high-class cultural, music and culinary festivals, this year's autumn-winter tourist season continues to affirm Quang Ninh's position as a destination of convergence, creativity and constant innovation to conquer visitors from near and far.

"Explosion" of year-end stimulus events

In the last months of 2025, Quang Ninh promises to become the "event center" of the North with a series of large-scale activities. The highlight is the Ha Long Concert 2025, taking place on October 29 at October 30 Square (Ha Long ward). The program brings together leading Vietnamese singers such as Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Tung Duong, Vo Ha Tram, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Duc Phuc, Phuong My Chi, Phuong Ly, Bao Anh... along with Quang Ninh artists, expected to attract 30,000 live audiences - a record number so far and millions of views on television and digital platforms. Next is the Quang Ninh OCOP Fair - Autumn Winter 2025 (October 28 - November 3) at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace, gathering over 160 booths, displaying thousands of OCOP products, gifts, and regional specialties to serve year-end shopping needs. At the same time, the Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2025 (October 30 - November 2) with the theme "Quang Ninh - Destination of culinary quintessence" at Sun Carnival Square (Bai Chay ward) will gather 200 domestic and foreign booths, expected to welcome 30,000-50,000 visitors.

In the last months of the year, Quang Ninh also organizes many attractive cultural, artistic and sports activities such as: Exhibition space for achievements in socio-economic development for 5 years (2020-2025); Cultural and Sports Festival of the province's ethnic groups; art program to celebrate the 89th anniversary of the Mining Workers' Traditional Day - Tradition of the Coal Industry; Dragon boat racing festival "Dragon Bay overcoming waves", ethnic festival "Dragon Bay converging", Ha Long Foodtour and Ha Long Bay Heritage International Marathon 2025.

In particular, the first National Tourism Forum scheduled to be held in mid-November in Quang Ninh will gather hundreds of leading domestic and foreign travel agencies, opening up opportunities for cooperation and large-scale tourism promotion. In Luc Hon commune, the annual Golden Season Festival and So Flower Festival continue to be held, starting with the Golden Season Festival taking place from October 25 to the end of November with many attractive activities: Experience harvesting rice on terraced fields, the Tay people's new rice celebration, the paragliding program "Flying over the golden season", trekking to conquer Cao Xiem peak, community tourism tour "Staying in the village - eating with the people - working in the same profession". Cruise tourism season usually starts in October and ends in April of the following year. To welcome the cruise tourism season to come and return, units in the province have proactively developed many plans, strengthened connections, renewed tourism products, and ensured service quality. It is expected that from now until the end of 2025, Quang Ninh will welcome about 40 cruise ships, with 6 in October alone. These are all luxury cruise ships that have been coming to Ha Long for many years, such as: Viking Orion, Silver Muse, Celebrity Solstice, Silver Whisper...

For air passengers, from November 1, Van Don International Airport began operating charter flights to Bao An Airport in Shenzhen City, China and vice versa. Flights are maintained regularly, initially in November, scheduled to fly on the following days: 01, 06, 10, 15, 20 and 24. This is an effort by Quang Ninh province and businesses to attract international visitors to Quang Ninh, especially traditional markets such as China.

Taking advantage of the end of the year as the "golden season" of MICE tourism (conferences, seminars, awards, events), Quang Ninh continuously welcomes large-scale groups of visitors. On October 16, nearly 1,000 luxury Chinese visitors visited Ha Long Bay under the MICE model. It is expected that by the end of 2025, the province will welcome about 350,000 - 400,000 Chinese visitors, including many large groups of 1,000-2,000 people, traveling on 3-day 2-night or 4-day 3-night programs, using high-quality services, staying at 4-5 star hotels in Quang Ninh.

A group of nearly 1,000 luxury Chinese tourists, traveling under the MICE program, arrived in Quang Ninh on October 16.

In the first 9 months of 2025, Quang Ninh welcomed 17.11 million visitors, completing over 85% of the yearly plan, up 9% over the same period. Of which, international visitors reached 3.25 million, up 25%. Total tourism revenue reached about 44,250 billion VND. This is a solid foundation for the province to reach the target of welcoming 20 million visitors, including 4.5 million international visitors, with total revenue of 55,000 billion VND in 2025. With a series of large-scale events, innovative tourism products and a professional linkage and promotion strategy, Quang Ninh is strongly affirming its position as a safe, friendly and attractive destination for domestic and international tourists.
