VIDEO : Autumn morning by Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi people greet each other with eyes and smiles.

For a long time, Hoan Kiem Lake has kept its own quiet space, where Hanoians start a new day with peace.

From dawn, around Hoan Kiem Lake, there were already a few people walking, doing exercises, and breathing in the autumn air. The water surface was still covered in mist, the trees were changing color, and leaves were falling along the path. The dawn gradually appeared, shining through the Turtle Tower, reflecting the first rays of the day on the faces of the elderly and young, those who loved the slow pace of life in the capital.

On a stone bench next to The Huc Bridge, two old men sat and told stories of the day. They have kept this habit for nearly twenty years, regardless of the season. “We call this our ‘morning appointment’. We go to the lake to see that we are still healthy and can still see each other,” said Nguyen Van Minh (67 years old).

Groups of middle-aged people exercised to soft music. An old woman poured a cup of tea and offered a sip to her fellow exercisers. Laughter mixed with the sound of shoes hitting the ground and birds chirping in the branches. Even though it was a Monday morning, the atmosphere here was leisurely, a far cry from the hustle and bustle just a few streets away.

Not far away, a foreign tourist was attentively capturing the beautiful moment of Hoan Kiem Lake in the early morning. They watched the pedestrians, occasionally raising their cameras to capture a beautiful scene.

At the corner of Le Thai To Street, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh (67 years old, Hoan Kiem Ward) is practicing yoga. “Every morning I go to the lake, do some exercises and then sit down to watch people passing by. The air is cool and pleasant, I feel like I am young again,” he shared.

Walking leisurely on the path around the lake, Hanoi people exchange smiles to greet the new day, simple but warm.

When the morning sun rose, the mist cleared, the lake surface was covered in golden sunlight. There were more pedestrians, tourists stopped to take photos, and people sat on the stone benches to rest and chat for a few minutes before returning to their daily routine.

In Hanoi, Autumn comes not only with the scent of milk flowers or the color of yellow leaves, but also in very simple moments, like a morning by the lake, where people can listen to their own breath in the heart of the city.

In the heart of the bustling capital, the stone benches around Hoan Kiem Lake are still a place to keep a bit of peace for Hanoians. A place where every morning, simple stories continue without noise, without haste, just quietly.

From a high angle, Hoan Kiem Lake seems to embrace the breath of Hanoi. The bright red The Huc Bridge stands out against the tranquil green background, evoking the gentle rhythm of the capital's early morning life.
