With only a few days left until Halloween, every corner of Hang Ma Street is filled with the festive spirit, featuring vibrant orange, red, and black colors, attracting numerous domestic and international tourists to experience and shop.

Halloween will take place on October 31st. From early in the days leading up to the holiday, vendors are busy preparing and displaying various Halloween decorations and toys, right after the Mid-Autumn Festival has ended.

Some of the most sought-after items include lamps, pumpkin baskets, masks, headbands and lanterns, and costumes in a variety of spooky and bizarre designs. Each pumpkin basket and lamp costs between 50,000 and 150,000 VND depending on size. Witch cloaks and other costumes range from 130,000 to 180,000 VND depending on the style.

Ms. Pham Phuong Mai (Cau Giay, Hanoi ) chose to visit Hang Ma Street on weekends to capture beautiful photos before the holiday: “The atmosphere in Hang Ma Street is always the same, not just during Halloween but on all occasions, always bustling and lively. I come here not only to buy Halloween items but also to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.”

According to Lao Dong newspaper, many families also bring their children here to freely choose items according to their preferences for the Halloween costume party at school. Some items that many children like are pumpkin baskets and various costumes.

However, because Christmas and Halloween are relatively close together, some stores display Christmas decorations simultaneously to meet the early decorating needs of the public.
