Immediately after the two victories in the decisive matches on the afternoon of December 11th, through VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his congratulations to the Vietnamese women's national team and the U22 Vietnamese team.
The Prime Minister commended the courageous fighting spirit, unwavering will, and resilience of both teams in securing important victories to advance to the semi-finals of the SEA Games 33, and encouraged the players to maintain their focus and aim for the highest possible goals in the remainder of the tournament.
This is seen as a huge morale boost for both teams at this crucial time.

Present in Thailand to directly watch the women's national team's match, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan said that this was a special day for Vietnamese football as both teams played at the same time and both successfully achieved their goal of advancing through the group stage.
He praised the efforts to overcome difficulties, especially the fact that both teams took an early 2-0 lead in the first half, a crucial factor that helped create an advantage and reduce pressure for the rest of the match.
Nevertheless, the VFF President also emphasized that, ahead are crucial matches that require the national teams to maintain maximum focus, continue thorough preparation, and play with a high level of discipline.
To promptly recognize the achievements and efforts of the teams, the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Board decided to award 700 million VND to the women's national team and 600 million VND to the U22 Vietnam team.
