After the first two matches in Group B, the golden girls of Vietnamese volleyball delivered outstanding performances and secured crushing victories against Myanmar (3-0) and Malaysia (3-0).

The same thing happened with Indonesia, who also secured 3-0 victories against Malaysia and Myanmar. With these results, the Vietnamese and Indonesian women's volleyball teams are currently sharing the top two positions in Group B.
