The highest salary increase is 4.75 million VND/month for outstanding employees.

On the afternoon of December 11th, at the 5th session of the 10th term of the Da Nang City People's Council, delegates voted to approve a resolution stipulating the level of additional income payment for officials, civil servants, and public employees in the city.

Additional income will be paid quarterly based on the performance evaluation and ranking of officials, civil servants, and public employees.

The resolution stipulates that, starting in 2026, officials who excel in their duties will receive an income increase coefficient of 0.5 times their monthly salary; those who perform well will receive 0.3 times; and those who complete their duties will receive 0.1 times.

From 2027 onwards, the Da Nang City People's Committee will submit to the City People's Council for decision the coefficient for additional income expenditure in the annual budget estimates, but it must not exceed 0.8 times the basic salary fund.

It is expected that civil servants who perform their duties exceptionally well will receive an average increase of 4.75 million VND/month; public employees will receive an increase of 4.38 million VND/month. For officials within the staffing quota at associations assigned tasks by the Party and the State, the increase will be approximately 4.18 million VND/month.

In cases of successful performance, civil servants receive an average increase of 2.85 million VND/month; public employees receive an increase of 2.63 million VND/month; and staff members on the payroll of associations receive an increase of approximately 2.51 million VND/month.

Officials and civil servants who complete their tasks will receive an increase of 0.95 million VND/month; public employees will receive an increase of 0.88 million VND/month; and officials in the staffing groups of associations will receive an increase of approximately 0.84 million VND/month.

The total projected expenditure for additional income in 2026 is over 1,956 billion VND, and for the entire period from 2026 to 2028 is over 7,614 billion VND. More than 54,000 officials, civil servants, and public employees are eligible for this policy.
