The Vietnam Tourism Association has just issued the Regulations for awarding the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025 and sent implementation guidelines to local tourism associations, specialized sub-associations, and member businesses nationwide.

The Vietnam Tourism Association has just issued the Regulations for awarding the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025 and sent implementation guidelines to local tourism associations, specialized sub-associations, and member businesses nationwide.

The Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025, organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association, features a diverse range of categories for both groups and individuals across various sectors of the industry, including travel, transportation, accommodation, tourist areas/destinations, new tourism products, training, cuisine , golf, and green tourism activities, all based on the VITA GREEN criteria.

Some notable categories include: Outstanding travel agencies by market; MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) organizations; tourist transportation businesses; efficiently operating hotels and resorts; tourism service facilities; outstanding tourist areas, destinations, and community tourism destinations; new/innovative tourism products; businesses and destinations meeting VITA GREEN standards; tourism training facilities; golf courses serving tourism, etc.

According to the regulations, the award criteria are based on business performance in 2025, customer service efficiency, management capacity, contributions to the business community, and active role in the activities of the Vietnam Tourism Association. Some categories also apply additional criteria related to digital transformation, green transformation, environmental protection, plastic waste reduction, and the application of technology in operations. Awards for the travel, accommodation, and destination sectors are evaluated based on data reported by the units, comments from specialized sub-associations and local tourism associations, and feedback from stakeholders.

Applications must be submitted before January 15, 2026. The award will be presented at the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2026, scheduled to take place from April 9 to 12, 2026.
