The 10 gold medals won by the Vietnamese sports delegation today came from Karate, Taekwondo, Jujitsu, Gymnastics, Judo, Athletics, and Swimming. In addition, there were 2 more gold medals in MMA, but since this is a demonstration sport, the medals are not included in the overall medal tally.
The joy was even more complete when, in football, both the Vietnam U22 team and the women's team won 2-0 to secure their places in the semi-finals.
With an impressive run of results, after the second day of competition, the Vietnamese sports delegation has won 14 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 27 bronze medals. As of 10 PM on December 11th, Vietnam has a total of 49 medals and temporarily holds second place on the SEA Games 33 medal table.
It's clear that today was a brilliant day for the Vietnamese sports delegation. Not only did they continuously win valuable medals, but the athletes also demonstrated their courage, confidence, and a spirited competitive spirit.
With this momentum, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation is clearly demonstrating its determination to conquer the highest goals at the 33rd SEA Games, while affirming the position of Vietnamese sports in the region's biggest arena.
