At the ceremony, Vingroup Corporation and the Thien Tam Foundation donated 13 standard ambulances, 2 high-end ambulances, and various modern medical equipment, with a total value of over 26 billion VND. These vehicles and equipment will be put into use to enhance pre-hospital emergency response capabilities and improve access to and treatment of emergencies for residents in the city.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung emphasized that pre-hospital emergency care is one of the prerequisites for protecting people's lives and is also an important foundation for Hai Phong to aim towards becoming a high-quality medical service center in the region. Investing in modern emergency vehicles not only contributes to building a safe and friendly city for tourists and investors but also aligns with the city's sustainable development strategy.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City respectfully thanked the Ministry of Health for selecting Hai Phong as one of the pilot localities for the Out-of-Hospital Emergency Care Project; and acknowledged the responsible support and cooperation of Vingroup Corporation and the Thien Tam Foundation in donating valuable medical equipment and supplies.
City leaders affirmed that the handover ceremony was an important step, contributing to realizing the goal of shortening the time to reach patients, improving the quality of on-site treatment, standardizing the capacity of the emergency medical team, and gradually building a smart, interdisciplinary pre-hospital emergency care model and applying technology in coordination.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee instructed the Department of Health to guide units in receiving, managing, and operating the donated vehicles and equipment effectively in accordance with regulations; to continue advising on inter-sectoral coordination mechanisms; to invest in the development of a smart emergency dispatch center; to expand the system of emergency satellite points in densely populated areas, industrial zones, and areas with limited emergency infrastructure; and to promote the training of first aid personnel in the community in accordance with the Ministry of Health's guidelines.
