Workers of Can Tho City Power Company participated in blood donation in response to the "EVN Red Week" in 2025.
In December 2025 – Customer Appreciation Month – Can Tho City Power Company not only ensured a stable electricity supply to meet the peak production, business, and consumption needs of the year-end period, but also directed its functional departments and 28 power management teams in communes and wards to actively support and guide customers in using electricity safely, economically, and efficiently. The company also simultaneously improved the quality of customer service; strengthened communication and guided customers to install the EVNSPC Customer Service App to monitor electricity readings, consumption, receive information about power outages, and conveniently request electricity repairs or pay electricity bills directly on their phones. In addition, the power sector proactively coordinated with associations, organizations, and socio- political groups to implement diverse propaganda activities to spread the message of safe, economical, and efficient electricity use in the community.
To show appreciation to its customers, Can Tho City Power Company directed its local power management teams to visit and present gifts to businesses and production facilities that have collaborated with the power industry in adjusting load demand and shifting production hours to off-peak hours. Simultaneously, they provided free cleaning of substations, periodic equipment testing, and guidance on maintaining post-meter electrical systems for large businesses inside and outside industrial zones. This helped businesses improve electricity efficiency and ensure safe and stable production during the year-end period.
Simultaneously, Can Tho City Power Company organized visits and provided support to policy beneficiary families, poor households, elderly people living alone, and orphaned children in the city; implemented repairs and new installations of household electricity systems for poor households; and supported the replacement of old lighting with energy-saving LED lights, contributing to helping people use electricity safely and economically in their daily lives.
In response to the 2025 Customer Appreciation Month and to commemorate the 71st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Electricity Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2025), the Youth Union of Can Tho City Power Company, in coordination with the Can Tho City Youth Union, implemented the "Lighting Up Rural Roads" program in rural communes; mobilizing more than 300 cadres, employees, and youth union members in the company to participate in voluntary blood donation, in response to the "EVN Red Week" 2025, with the message "Thousands of hearts - One spirit". Ms. Nguyen Bao Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Can Tho City Power Company, shared: "Despite the busy work at the end of the year, cadres and employees still took the time to participate in blood donation. This is not only a meaningful activity in response to the Customer Appreciation Month, but also demonstrates the noble gesture, the spirit of mutual support and responsibility to the community of cadres and employees in the electricity industry."
The voluntary blood donation campaign launched by the electricity sector is receiving increasingly positive responses from a large number of officials and employees. Many are willing to share their blood to bring life to patients. Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Minh, a worker at the Phung Hiep Electricity Management Team, said: "This is the second year I have participated in the blood donation campaign launched by the electricity sector. Blood donation is very meaningful, and after each donation, I feel happy because I have contributed a small part to helping unfortunate patients."
Customer Appreciation Month is one of the annual activities that Can Tho City Power Company has actively implemented for many years, with the goal of providing the best electricity services to electricity users; combined with the implementation of many community-oriented activities demonstrating the spirit and responsibility of electricity industry officials and employees towards customers. Through these meaningful customer appreciation activities, the company has received a positive response from electricity users in the city.
