The athletes compete in the mixed doubles event after the opening ceremony.
This year's tournament attracted approximately 300 athletes from various departments, agencies, armed forces, students, and members of badminton clubs both within and outside the province. The athletes were divided into 8 age groups, competing in the following events: Men's doubles, mixed doubles, and women's doubles.
The 2nd Dat Mui Badminton Tournament 2025 is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Hon Khoai Uprising and the Revolutionary Tradition Day of the Party Committee, army and people of Ca Mau province (December 13, 1940 - December 13, 2025); the 65th anniversary of the sister-province relationship between Ca Mau and Ninh Binh provinces (1960 - 2025); and also an opportunity for badminton enthusiasts to meet, exchange experiences, and learn from each other; creating a healthy and beneficial playground, together improving physical fitness, responding to the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh" and contributing to the development of mass sports movements in the locality.
