From 1:30 am, the Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square area, Hoan Kiem Lake was lit up by thousands of green shirts and the exciting warm-up music. Amidst the warm-up steps, the stream of people in green shirts blended with the colors of hundreds of unique costumes. A familiar space of Hanoi suddenly became different - fresh, youthful and full of energy.

Not only a visual highlight, the costumes also carry their own meaning for each person. With the theme "Hanoi Vibes", the main image is Lego characters - the universal language of childhood. The runners had a creative and adorable transformation and especially did not forget to highlight with G-DRAGON's symbols to remind everyone about the upcoming concert of the famous K-Pop singer, of which VPBank is the prestigious title sponsor.

The Faceless character strode among the runners, bringing a unique color to the VPIM 2025 race. This is probably an indispensable cosplay costume on the VPIM race, which has a different look each year. "I have participated in many races, but only at VPIM can one see such a 'play hard' spirit," a runner shared.

"This is the first race I have participated in so I want to make a little impression. The Vietnamese version of Tinker Bell costume with VPBank's brand blue. This year's race is a big milestone for me because I have never been an exercise enthusiast and it was also a challenge I set for myself and I overcame it," athlete Doan Quynh Tho shared.

Athlete Nguyen Nhat Long said he chose to dress up as Joker - the most beloved villain but full of humor and satire on the big screen. "Joker is a special character; in some ways, Joker also makes us look back at ourselves, to live better and be ourselves, to be free without worrying about being judged with the famous quote. It doesn't matter who you are, don't bother explaining. What you are doing will define you." This is the second time Long has participated in the VPIM race, his general feeling is that it is a big tournament, organized properly and the running route goes through many famous places in Hanoi.

Because this year's race is quite close to Halloween, I wanted to create something new and different. This outfit was also a challenge on the race track because of the wind resistance, but I'm happy that I finished within the expected time. I'm not sure if I won the prize, but I definitely won first place in the hearts of fans on the race track - runner Nguyen Ha Bac said.

VPRun Club members said they were inspired by many different costumes to create ideas for their costumes. Every year we also participate in cosplay but not as special as this year, with this costume, we want to create a highlight to create joy as well as cheer for all athletes.

It can be said that the VPIM race is not only a physical competition but also a place to create cultural values, foster team spirit and sharing. "Running with thousands of strangers but feeling very close. Every look, every smile makes me feel warm," Ms. Lan Huong, a runner participating in VPIM for the first time, emotionally said.

This year, VPIM continues to prove its position as one of the most attractive international running races in Vietnam, gathering nearly 11,000 athletes from 25 countries and territories. Not only a place to challenge physical strength, VPIM is also a journey of emotional connection - where each runner tells a story with their own steps and colors.
