Bac Ninh: Applying digital technology in the work of grasping the people's situation

In the context of strong digital transformation, research and application of technology in the work of grasping the people's situation is of special importance in order to innovate the content and methods of mass mobilization work of the political system. Thereby improving the capacity to forecast, grasp and promptly resolve issues arising from the grassroots, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals of the Provincial Party Congress Resolution for the 2025 - 2030 term and the province's digital transformation program, towards building a digital government, digital citizens, and a comprehensively developed digital society.

At the workshop, delegates focused on analyzing and evaluating the current situation and proposed many specific solutions to promote the effectiveness of technology application in the work of grasping the people's situation. Many opinions affirmed that the application of modern technology tools helps improve the efficiency of collecting, synthesizing and analyzing information, contributing to grasping the thoughts, feelings and aspirations of all classes of people.

Some suggestions for this work to be highly effective are that units and localities continue to innovate their thinking, promote the proactive role of cadres doing propaganda and mass mobilization work at all levels; strengthen coordination with specialized agencies in building, managing and exploiting information databases to serve the work of grasping the people's situation. The application of digital technology needs to be linked to a scientific working process, ensuring accuracy, objectivity and confidentiality of information.

Practice shows that digital transformation brings opportunities for the mass mobilization and propaganda system to improve the quality and efficiency of its operations, especially in receiving and handling people's feedback and recommendations, forecasting public opinion, helping Party committees and authorities to be proactive in direction and administration.

Therefore, delegates proposed that the province should have policies and mechanisms to encourage initiatives in applying technology suitable to the characteristics of each locality; and strengthen training and fostering digital skills for cadres working in mass mobilization and propaganda at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the workshop, comrade Le Minh Hai highly appreciated the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of the delegates. The application of technology and digital transformation in the work of grasping the situation of the people is not only an inevitable trend but also an important solution to strengthen the close connection between the Party committee, the government and the people, contributing to the construction of digital government, digital society, digital citizens, towards the goal of making Bac Ninh a centrally-run city before 2030, a "green, civilized city, imbued with Kinh Bac cultural identity".

Comrade Le Minh Hai suggested that Party committees, authorities, agencies and units in the province continue to strengthen their leadership and direction in digital transformation, considering this a key political task associated with the responsibility of the leader. Along with perfecting the database, technology infrastructure and ensuring information security, it is necessary to focus on training and fostering digital skills for cadres, civil servants, public employees and people, forming a "community digital technology team" to effectively support the grassroots.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations continue to promote propaganda and mobilize people to actively participate in digital platforms, create social consensus, contribute to improving the effectiveness of grasping the people's situation, and serve local socio-economic development.
